* Global oil prices mostly went down with February contract of WTI fell by 0.6%, quoted at $78.43/barrel, and the March contract of Brent down by 0.92%, closed at $81/barrel.

* According to Vale, the iron ore estimated production in 2022 is 320-335 million tons. Lately, railways were shut down due to the rainfall in Minas Gerais State in Brazil, iron ore production was partially suspended.

* COMEX gold closed up with 0.22% increase at $1801.3 per ounce, and COMEX silver shifted 0.41% higher to $22.5 per ounce. As of January 10, the gold position of SPDR Gold Trust approximately remained unchanged at 977.08 tons.

* For the night session on January 10, commodity market closed mixed with black series leading the downside, thermal coal fell the most with 3.3% decline, coke and coking coal slipped by 1.9% and 1.84% respectively, while iron ore rose by 1.07%. Regarding chemical and energy sector, methanol slumped close to 3%, EG went down more than 2%, both LPG and paper pulp fell close to 2%. In term of agricultural products, rapeseed oil shifted 0.2% lower.

* LME metals closed mixed with LME copper fell by 0.85% to $9,565/ton, LME zinc down by 1.29% to $3,487.5/ton, LME nickel went up by 0.27% to $20,790 ton, while LME aluminum rose by 0.63% to $2,933/ton, LME tin shifted 0.75% higher to $40,125/ ton, while LME lead closed down with 0.07% decline at $2,276.5/ton.
